Santa has a few more elves to help him out this Christmas! We all really enjoyed our Christmas dinner today - thank you to the amazing kitchen staff for their hard work!
Today we watched the BBC Christmas Ad - Sprout Boy! We thought about how Sprout Boy might be feeling at this time of year and used Morfo on the iPad to help him tell the world why we should be kind to sprouts at Christmas!
This week, Mr Scanlon's maths group have been learning about Roman numerals! We practised making the numbers using lollysticks (as they are all made up of straight lines!) and then made our own clock! In English today, we were able to use our computing skills to send emails to Santa! We had a brilliant time making our paper chains and mini Christmas wreaths this afternoon! Thanks to all the grown ups who came in to help us! In science, we learned how soil is made and had a close look at some soil samples to see what components we could find! As part of our work on Children in Need we had a go at drawing our own Pudsey bear! |
